Omega-3 fatty acids are essential to supporting your pet's heart and rejuvenating its skin and coat, all while helping reduce inflammation.
The cod is sourced in Alaska wild-caught by local fishermen. The cod skins are then shipped to Polkadog Bakery's Boston Fish Pier kitchen to be hand-rolled and dehydrated.
Polkadog tests the cod for heavy metals and toxins to provide pet owners with the highest quality products.

When you build a bowl here at Volhard, you will start with the choice of foundation mix. For better planning, it’s helpful to think about the dog you plan to feed and their issues first. This is where you can determine the "personality" of your bowl.
Build-a-Bowl is a fun way to find out what the nutritional value is in a bowl of Volhard! Then you will be asked to add a protein for a delectable super-powered meal for your dog!

PolkaDog cod skins
These cod skins are my dogs absolute favorite treat! She gets so excited and I feel good knowing they are a safe, healthy option. Good quality with a bit of a fishy smell but then again, it IS fish and should smell like fish, it is evidence of minimal processing which is what we want. They are not messy. These are the top of my list for our dog and cat.
