Every dog is special. But it’s not just their personality. Every dog has unique nutrition needs based on their breed, size, shape, activity level and many other factors. The best way to help your dog be the best version of themselves is to build a healthy, balanced bowl that’s a combination of grains, vegetables, proteins, hydrators and supplements that are specific to your pet.
When you build a bowl here at Volhard, you will start with the choice of foundation mix. For better planning, it’s helpful to think about the dog you plan to feed and their issues first. This is where you can determine the "personality" of your bowl.
Build-a-Bowl is a fun way to find out what the nutritional value is in a bowl of Volhard! Then you will be asked to add a protein for a delectable super-powered meal for your dog!
Feeding Directions:
Enhance your pet’s bowl in three easy steps:
1. Sprinkle the amount of Veggie Pak, as directed below, on your dog’s regularly fed food.
2. Add warm water and wait about 5 minutes for veggies to rehydrate.
3. Serve your dog an enhanced bowl!
Daily Feeding Recommendations (Tablespoons/ Cups per Day):
Each dog is an individual with varying activity levels and diets fed. The amounts suggested are only guidelines for daily feeding amounts. Divide the following daily guidelines in half for feeding twice per day.

AM Porridge and PM Crumble
I have a rescue Pug. When I got her she weighed 10 pounds more than a healthy weight for a Pug . After being on AM Porridge and PM Crumble, she has now lost those extra pounds. Also both of my rescues are 11 years old and have a difficult time chewing. The texture of the food is ideal as well as being healthy. The treats I like because they break up easily and I can regulate them better.

My dogs love these vegetables and is very convenient. It's hard to find good fresh vegetables in the winter so this is a great alternative. Once Spring hits I will go back to my local farm.
